The focus of this tour is on three different locations, each subject to a drastic reorganization or restructuring that is either in progress or has already been completed.
During the tour, I will share my observations of people acting on these sites. With this in mind and on hand we explore the current state of each location. We may think about the past and future of these locations and get into conversations—depending on the tour‘s participants.

Birte Endrejat, born 1979, studied at Hochschule für Künste Bremen and Université du Québec à Montréal (Canada). In her artistic work, she examines the relationship of constructed public and semi-public spaces and the local action. She starts from the question of how the place (and its physical and psychological structure) is reflected in the actions of passers-by.
Since 2008 she is one founding member of artist collective mark. In 2008 she initiated an international residency program in an empty shop in Bremen. It was realized in collaboration with Jette Hye Jin Mortensen (Denmark), Matt Golden (Great-Britain), Darragh O’Callagh (Ireland) and Instant Coffee (Canada). In 2009 together with François Lemieux she ran a gallery-project in their private apartment which hosted more then 15 shows.
Since 2012 she works with Doris Weinberger as RAUMFINDER. They develop participatory strategies to integrate users of public buildings in the architectural plannings.
